Surrey County Council (SCC) submitted an outline planning application in March 2023 for a development of new, high quality, affordable extra care accommodation on the site of the former Brockhurst Care Home in Ottershaw, Chertsey. Details of the proposals can be found here.
The community engagement exercise supported by this website commenced in November 2022 and ended in December 2022. You can watch the recordings of our consultation events for residents here. All of the feedback received during our consultation was included in a Statement of Community Involvement that was submitted as part of the planning application.
The planning application is currently under consideration. SCC will update residents once the application has been decided.
